Part of your workflow
The LU4000 is an essential part of your live video workflow, acting as your in-studio or on-site source for live feeds coming from any LiveU field unit or from the LiveU Matrix cloud video distribution platform.
Multi-purpose decoder
The LU4000 supports a single 4K transmission (over 12G-SDI) as well as up to four full HD independent transmissions from different units (over 4 x 3G/HD/SD-SDI). It also supports multi-camera productions: receiving and playing out up to four fully synced feeds from a single LU800 unit.
Enabling ground-to-cloud productions
Our decoders are also available in the cloud! LiveU’s cloud-based decoders, “cloud channels”, allow you to seamlessly receive LRT™ feeds from your LiveU field units and output them to various online/digital destinations and/or your cloud-based production platforms.
Supporting multiple protocols, including NDI, RTMP, MPEG-TS and SRT, the cloud channels can be dynamically added as supplementary channels alongside your physical receiver or utilized as your primary receiving channel.
The LU4000 can receive multiple preview feeds, allowing the remote operator to select the feed/s played out for local consumption. Built for maximum workflow flexibility, the LU4000 offers multiple output options including SDI, NDI, RTMP, MPEG-TS and SRT.
Live streams are managed and controlled via the LiveU Central cloud-based management platform or the LiveU Control+ App.

Turn your LU4000 into a mobile receiver
Transmit live feeds from the field directly to your production truck as part of a cost-effective on-site production solution. Cut costs and reduce set-up times, by eliminating the need to set up line-of-sight infrastructure, cables and internet sourcing.
